He exhaled nervously. A sense of expectation was tangible on his face. As I watched him, I could only imagine scenes flashing thru his mind as he remembered meeting his new daughter for the first time. This moment surely held similar and sweet emotion for Mark. He was about to see his daughter, his baby girl, Lara, for the first time in her dress. It was a brisk and blustery day at Dove Ridge Vineyard, but this moment warmed all of our hearts when he finally found the words to say:

“Oh my goodness baby, you look BEAUTIFUL”. So simple, but so powerful. She embraced him. And in that embrace, you could feel the heart of a father towards his daughter. Lara and her dad could’ve held that hug for hours on end.

Being a dad of two daughters, this is one of the sweetest moments for me to capture on wedding day. It’s hard for me to ever shoot that sweet embrace without wiping my own tears away and fast forwarding to my sweet Sloane and Emory’s wedding day.

Lara and Dustin, your love story is genuine and sincere. You love each other fiercely and with deep devotion and truly cared about connecting with each and every one on your wedding day. It was evident that every guest in attendance mattered to you and Dustin.
