Kevin + Allison | Dove Ridge Vineyard Wedding, Fort Worth, TX

“You’ve been dating her since you were twelve! What has taken so long?” the officiant proclaimed. Kevin and Allison laughed. Their family and friends who had gathered at their Dove Ridge Vineyard wedding to celebrate with them laughed too. But that was just the surface of the story.

These two lovers dated for what seemed like forever.

They’d been engaged for what seemed forever.

And yet, after quarantining from March through May, Kevin and Allison spent plenty of nights leading up to their wedding day praying that the day they’d been dreaming about for so long would be able to take place. There were many discouraging moments along the way, but the couple remained upbeat. There were even moments where it looked like weddings might not open up again, but they remained hopeful.

Thankfully, June saw the return of Dallas/Fort Worth Weddings, although they look a little different these days. Still, these two threw one heckuva stunning wedding celebration to commemorate their union… they were all smiles all day long! It was hot, but their joy was obvious! Ali’s dad said it so well when he said “it was the happiest I’d seen (Ali) since she was a little girl playing in the kiddie pool!”

Kevin and Allison, it feels like a lifetime ago that we spotted you as the best-dressed couple at the Dove Ridge Open House in 2018, but we’re just getting started! We knew serving you would be a dream come true, yet we had no idea how true that was!. Time and time again, from your engagement session to our Square 8 Couple’s Dinner last Christmas, to the many phone calls and conversations in between, y’all exceeded expectations at every turn! But is anyone surprised by this? NO! Your kindness, joy, and peaceful presence are 2nd to none! We look forward to continuing to get to know y’all in the years ahead! Thanks again for choosing us to capture the magic of your Dove Ridge Vineyard wedding!
