Can we talk about something that’s not easy to talk about today??
LONELINESS
I read a statistic recently that blew my mind: Over two thirds of photographers reported feeling loneliness in their work 🤯🤯🤯.
So I reached out to students and followers on Instagram and found that they also struggle with a sense of loneliness and isolation.
I did a little more digging online and as I was researching, came across this quote: “To be a photographer is to willingly enter the world of the lonely because it is an artistic exercise in invisibility.” WOAH!
The thing is… you don’t have to be lonely.
On this week’s episode of Monday Magic, I am sharing four ways you can combat loneliness. From connecting with other photographers to involving your family OR tapping into a network of over 17 million college students around the country, there are simple steps you can take to not sink into loneliness.
