“That’s my fiancé!” she exclaimed, as she and her friends all burst in to laughter.
I’d never been so confused in my life.
We were at the Big Fake Wedding, a bridal show for couples who want to work with vendors that care about relationships, and the beautiful blonde woman in front of me was pointing, not at some guy standing next to her, but at our slideshow of images as she made her laughter-filled proclamation.
That’s when I realized what was happening: I’d met her fiancé, Nick, when he graciously stood in as a model for a styled shoot we participated in this past January. Several months later, Nick proposed to his girlfriend, Chelsea, and now she was attending the bridal show with her friends to find wedding vendors… and the last thing she was expecting to see was pictures of her new fiancé!
After having a good laugh about everything, Chelsea and Nick booked us for their December wedding at a beautiful new venue, The Barn at Paradise Plantation, so we get to take REAL pictures of Nick and his REAL fiancé now!
Nick and Chelsea, y’all are AMAZING. I’m so glad we got to meet up with you and take these engagement photos. Love looks GREAT on y’all, and Downtown Dallas has never looked better… your wedding is going to be absolutely MAGICAL!!!
Here are a few sneak peeks from Nick and Chelsea’s engagement session!
