He spun her around. The long, beautiful train of her dress trailed behind her as she spun. Her eyes danced as she locked her gaze on his. They laughed their way round and round the dance floor. If you’ve ever looked through Dallas wedding photography, you know Texans are serious about their dancing. Benjamin and Elizabeth and their friends and family took that to a whole new level on their wedding day!

 

I’ll never forget the first time I saw these two dance at their Fort Worth engagement session this past spring. You know that look people get on their faces when they’re doing something that truly makes them come alive? That’s Benjamin and Elizabeth when they start dancing. His chest puffs as he brims with confidence. Her demeanor softens with bliss every time he twirls her into his arms. These two are dancers at heart.

And for the briefest of moments at Chapel Creek Ranch that night, the entire dance floor was theirs. A room full of their closest friends and family stood looking on, watching as these two spun and dipped their way into marriage doing the thing they loved to do most. It reminded me of an old John Michael Montgomery song:

Benjamin and Elizabeth, you two were a joy to serve. From our first conversation all the way through the moment you left our office today, I was blown away by the joy and laughter you two bring to every space and relationship you enter in to. I pray that as you dance your through life together, the joy you bring to others would be returned to you in abundance!
