She took his hand in hers. Everyone in attendance at Factory Atlanta looked on with baited breath. Her free hand reached down. She picked up an object. You would have thought it was a ring she was reaching for, but you would have been wrong. And as she held Aaron’s hand, pledging her undying love for her soon-to-be husband, Phu Xuan concluded her words with one simple question:

“Aaron, will you accept this rose?”

If you’ve spent any amount of time around Aaron and Phu Xuan, you know these two love to laugh. Their fun-loving nature was ever-present on wedding day, as the day was filled with gags, cigars, sunglasses, lots of laughs, and of course Phu Xuan’s tribute to one of the couple’s favorite shows… “The Bachelor!”

But don’t let all the laughter fool you… these two planned a STUNNING wedding. Phu Xuan told me their day wouldn’t have much in the way of details, so you can imagine my surprise to walk in to Factory Atlanta the night of their rehearsal to see every square inch of the space detailed to perfection with hand-crafted beauty, right down to the custom mountain range that served as both a backdrop to their ceremony, and a tip of the hat to Aaron’s mountain proposal to his bride last year.

Aaron and Phu Xuan, from the time I first met you, it was clear we were going to have a lot of fun together. From bringing my favorite drink from Starbucks to your engagement session, to your constant excitement and eagerneess to hang out or grab a meal at any opportunity we got between saying “hello” at The Big Fake Wedding last year to your Wedding Day, y’all were a BLAST to work with! I love how easy-going and natural your love is for each other, and I love the way that your love for one another spills into all your other relationships with friends and family!

Wishing you both all the best as you walked this road of married life together. Thanks for all the laughs and a truly incredible wedding day experience… we love you guys!
