Photographing a gorgeous White Sparrow wedding has long been at the top of my wishlist as a professional wedding photographer. We’d shot several beautiful wedding films, but still dreamed of capturing photography there. Recently, I had my first opportunity to photograph a gorgeous White Sparrow wedding… and The White Sparrow did not disappoint!
The White Sparrow Barn is located in Quinlan, TX, just outside of DFW. It is a wedding photographer’s dream come true! The gorgeous wedding venue feels like stepping into another, more magical world from the moment you arrive. And when you step inside the venue, you’ll see wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling, white shiplap – photography heaven!
Light dances all around the main room, which can be your wedding ceremony, wedding reception, or both (if you’re willing to have your guests step outside for a moment and enjoy the scent of the nearby lavender fields while your wedding planner flips the room!
Shooting a wedding at The White Sparrow in the middle of February, I anticipated the weather would be a bit colder. I was right. High winds added to the chilliness of the day, but the warmth shared between the couple kept us all smiling all afternoon. When he turned around and saw his bride for the first time, our groom grinned from ear to ear. Talk about a deep romance!
