If 2020 has taught us anything, it’s this: nurses are heroes. With COVID-19 creating never-before-seen challenges for our country, nurses have been on the front lines day in and day out, putting their own health on the line to care for their patients. TCU Nursing seniors? They’re the best of the best in my book!

TCU has an absolutely stellar nursing program. As a result, they attract the cream of the crop when it comes to aspiring nursing students. Somehow, they also manage to recruit only the world’s most fashionable future nurses, too! But don’t let their killer fashion and perfectly styled hair fool you though… these girls are warriors!

Spending an afternoon with TCU Nursing Seniors Maddie, Destiny, Natalie, Lexi, and Paola, you quickly see that these five friends are deeply passionate about what they do. They work hard. Study hard. Train hard. One of them had been up for 24 hours coming in to the shoot, because she’d worked a night shift the night before! They have dedicated their lives to their pursuit of nursing. Now, it is paying off big time as they wrap up their college career! And boy are they organized – these girls came in with a detailed game plan for their session, which allowed us to work incredibly efficiently to get every shot on their list!

One of the other qualities that really struck me about this quintet was their kindness. I’m not sure how we get to be so lucky, but we have had the honor of serving some of the sweetest, most generous students at TCU. From the time we met, they were all so encouraging and supportive… of each other, and of me!

Ladies, thank you for allowing me to capture these photos of your incredible friend group. The future of nursing will be in undeniably capable hands with the 5 of you! Congratulations!
