She’s not the loudest voice in the room. She’s not the one drawing all the laughs, or commanding all the attention with a larger than life persona. And yet, walk in a room where TCU Senior Kathryn Kolski is present, and she immediately stands out from the crowd, instantly drawing you in. Not by what she DOES, but by who she IS.

For Kathryn, impressions are best made through a quiet presence and strength of character. In a season of life like college, where so many of us are figuring out who we are, Kathryn seems to know who she is. And even more importantly, she seems to really enjoy who she is and who she’s becoming.

A Strategic Communications major with a Sociology minor, Kathryn will be continuing her work with GM Financial this summer after she graduates. But don’t let all the degrees and accomplishments fool you: Kathryn is as down-to-earth as they come. A genuine and good soul in a day and age where both are in short supply.

Kathryn, from the moment I met you a couple years ago, you have been nothing but consistent in your kindness, warmth, and support. There’s never any pretense with you. No one ever has to wonder where they stand with you, or how much you care about them. You just keep showing up: faithfully, consistently, and unwaveringly. I’m so thankful you discovered us through Sydney Bettis your freshman year, and I am even more thankful you and Matthew will be hanging around Fort Worth after graduation. I’m better for knowing you, and so excited for the road ahead!
