When it comes to weddings, I thought I’d seen it all.
I was so wrong.
With the Coronavirus continuing to place weddings in a “can-we-or-can’t-we” state of limbo across the state of Texas, leaving brides to panic over whether or not their dream day will happen according to plan, Brittany not only was a portrait of peace and calm in the midst of the storm, she had the presence of heart and mind to think about her new father-in-law, Lee.
Lee has 2 sons, Tyler (Brittany’s now-husband) and Cooper. No girls. Which meant for Lee, he’d never get to experience the magic and wonder of a father’s first look with his daughter on her wedding day.
That’s where Brittany stepped in with a brilliant idea.
Not one, but TWO father/daughter first looks.
One with her father.
One with her father-in-law.
And as the tears streamed down Lee’s face as he soaked in the moment, you could sense just how much this gesture resonated.
You could sense how much this meant the world to him.
You could sense how special a day this was going to be.
Tyler and Brittany, your day was a breath of fresh, calm air in the midst of a crazy season of life and weddings. From COVID-19, to flies jumping in with you at the altar as you said your vows, to rolling your ankle during sunset photos, you guys know how to have a great time no matter what life deals you, and Tyler… we knew you were a stud when you showed up in that sweet suit for your engagement photos… but those dance moves bro?! CRUSHED IT!
Wishing y’all all the best in your life as #NewlyNelson! We love you guys!
