When it comes to weddings in the COVID-19 era, couples and vendors alike have learned to expect the unexpected. For many couples, that’s meant a change of date, while for others, it’s meant smaller backyard weddings. But the one consistent theme that has run through watching each of our couples walk through their COVID-19 wedding season has been a willingness to embrace the novelty of this season, and enjoy all the of the uniqueness it is bringing us!
For Tyler and Brooke, embracing changed looked like scaling back their audience, shifting venues, and opting for a morning wedding. Despite Savannah’s penchant for unplanned rain showers, the weather held up beautifully for their outdoor ceremony, with the sun even poking out as they drove off in their vintage ride for a downtown portraits amidst a backdrop off Savannah’s gorgeous weeping willow trees.
And, as we walked the streets of downtown Savannah, the newlyweds hand in hand, we were treated to one final unexpected turn of events: a local trumpeter spotted Tyler and Brooke walking through Forsyth Park, and came over to serenade them while they enjoyed an impromptu first dance as husband and wife!
Tyler and Brooke, thanks for your easygoing demeanor through uncertain days, and your willingness to hold on to your dreams for a most gorgeous wedding day! Wishing you all the best as you step in to forever together!
